Catahoula native and 3-time Kentucy Derby winning jockey Cavin Borel was arrested and jailed Saturday night in Evansville, Indiana on a drunken drive charge.

Borel was stopped by Indiana State Police for making an unsafe lane change. According to Borel's agent, Jerry Hissam, Borel's blood-alcohol content was "barely over" the legal limit of .08 percent.

As a result of the arrest, Borel was taken off his Sunday mounts at Ellis Park in nearby Henderson, Ky., where he has been riding this summer.

Calvin Borel is due in court today (Monday).
