Cam has spent a lot of the last year on the road, and the rising country star says she's adjusting well to the hectic schedule — as long as her wakeup call doesn't come before 6AM.

Her days are busy on tour, but she says she's able to deal with it. Although, some days better than others. We caught up with Cam at her tour stop in Mohegan Sun, CT, recently where she told us about her hectic schedule and her exciting Grammy nomination.

"Pretty much all last year, everything was a 6AM wakeup call. I feel like 6 is okay, and then when you get before 6 — like the 4:15s, 4 o'clocks — that's the worst, 'cause then you know you've got a full day of getting to the airport and traveling and stuff," Cam shares. "Those are the rough ones, any time before 6AM."

The "Mayday" singer is currently on tour with Brad Paisley, so her schedule is action-packed. She gets up around 9:30AM and does a local event in each market called Coffee With Cam, meeting some local fans for a chat, followed by lunch, soundcheck and the show. With her schedule so hectic, she finds herself eating breakfast at odd times.

Fortunately for the Grammy-nominated singer, McDonald's now has an All Day Breakfast menu available for when those breakfast cravings strike at any hour of the day. The new campaign encourages diners to have a good morning no matter what time of the day — and that's a philosophy Cam has had to learn to embrace, since sometimes she doesn't get back to her bus until 12:30AM after a show.

The singer is fortunate that she doesn't have to deal with the sleep deprivation that can come with life on tour. "Luckily I sleep really well on the bus, because that would suck if I couldn't sleep on the bus," she says.
