Casey Anthony has come out of seclusion for a meeting with the creditors in her bankruptcy case in Tampa. Anthony has not made any public appearances since she left jail after being acquitted of murder in 2011 in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Why has Anthony laid so low? Death threats, said her lawyer. He told WTSP in Tampa that there has been a $50,000 bounty on her head ever since July 2011, when she was found not guilty of killing Caylee. That's why she's been in hiding, he said. Safety concerns are also why the judge has allowed the hearing at 1:30 p.m. Monday to stay in Tampa instead of moving it to her hometown of Orlando.

Anthony will be trying to declare bankruptcy. She says she has just a thousand dollars in assets and almost a million dollars in debts, with more than half of that from legal fees and court costs.
