The Bryan Badon Memorial Concert will be held at the Rayne Frog Festival Pavillion today from noon to midnight. All proceeds will go to Bryan's wife and kids to help defray funeral expenses. Bryan was a long-time musician who played with many local bands and tragically lost his life in an automobile accident earlier this year.

This year's Texaco Country Showdown is set for Friday, August 2nd at Cowboy's Night Club in Lafayette. The Showdown gives you the opportunity to perform on stage and hopefully launch your very own singing career.
