As we all get ready to hit I-10 East this weekend for the New Orleans Bowl, we must also get ready to pass a great time NOLA. There's so much to do in New Orleans, so many great places to eat and drink and cut up
Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel and mayor of Greenville, North Carolina, Allen Thomas, have agreed to a friendly wager over the New Orleans Bowl this weekend.

There's only 18 days till Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns take on the East Carolina Pirates in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. A lot of you have already reserved your tickets and your hotel room, now you need to know what festivities are going on leading up to the big game.
This year's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will be a bit different from last year. The game will be at 11am instead of 8pm. That just means the partying starts a little sooner.
For the second straight year Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are heading to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game is set for 11am on Saturday, December 22nd. While the Cajuns don't know yet who their opponent will be, Cajuns fans do know they want to be "in that number."
