Winter in Louisiana is not a snow white wonderland. It is more like a squishy brown mess of dead grass, leaves and mud. It looks like we'll be getting more of the mud over the next few days as another storm system is expected to dump from 3-6 inches of rainfall on the area between midday Tuesday and early Thursday morning.
When will the rain come to an end?
Rain chances will be high for Friday with better weather forecast for the weekend.
Hello my lovely Dawg peeps! I have a funny story for you and it is about the hassles and troubles that come with traveling- specifically flying. If you have ever flown or dealt with Airlines in your lifetime, then you have most definitely experienced the frustrating nonsense that comes with it. I could sit here and type all day because I have several stories about traveling-gone-wrong with my family, but today I will tell you what happened Dec. 26, 2012.

A cold front will push through the Acadiana area after midnight tonight. It is expected to bring showers and perhaps some heavy thunderstorms to South Louisiana just as the last system did.
I know, I know, I know, they will play the game inside however there is a lot of stuff going on outside the Superdome too. That means we will need to know what to expect from Mother Nature.
