Charges Upgraded Against Scott Man Accused In Lassoing Incident At Cowboy’s Saloon
The charges have been upgraded against 27-year-old Jeremy Mouton, accused of lassoing another man at Cowboys Saloon in Scott in August.
According to our news partners at KATC, Jeremy Mouton was initially charged with simple battery. But, according to a bill of information filed in district court, Mouton now faces two separate aggravated battery charges because prosecutors say the horse and the lasso should be considered two separate dangerous weapons.
Mouton is accused of bringing his horse to the Scott bar, lassoing the man and dragging him through the bar’s parking lot.
