At the stroke of noon on New Year's Eve, there's one place you want to be with your kids -- the Children's Museum of Acadiana in downtown Lafayette.

The annual celebration known as New Year's Noon will actually start at 10am and run till 2pm at the CMA, located at 201 E. Congress Street.

Your children will able to dance in a confetti blizzard, experience 6 prize ball drops, use a mallet and ring the bell on a kid-sized high striker, create spin-art paintings, grab a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, go fishin', ring their own drink as a prize, play plinko, get their face painted, go bowling, take a bike safety course, make arts and crafts, and much more.

The regular admission of $7.00 covers all the inside activities. Outside carnival tickets are 25 cents each. Food, beverages and stroller parking will be available.
