Chris Hemsworth Named ‘People’ Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive

The good folks at People magazine have announced their "Sexiest Man Alive" and Thor took home top honors. OK, so maybe the guy's real name is Chris Hemsworth (but I only know him as the hammer-wielding super hero Thor).

Hemsworth hopes this title gives him a little advantage over his wife Elsa Pataky at home.

He says, "I can just say to her, 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change diapers. I'm above that. I've made it now.'"

The also-rans include: Chris' "Thor" co-star Idris Elba, Chris Pratt and his "Guardians of the Galaxy" co-star Bradley Cooper, "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan, "White Collar" star Matt Bomer, Blake Shelton, Tim Tebow, Michael Strahan, and Eddie Redmayne, who plays Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything".

And of course, the big news again this year is that male model/television meteorologist/Fred Flintstone doppleganger Dave Baker did not make the list. Travesty!
