Christmas on the Boulevard in St Martinville Sunday

Our friends in St Martinville are definitely getting in the holiday spirit, and you can join in this Sunday, December 14 at 'Christmas on the Boulevard'! Festivities include specials and refreshments from some of the wonderful local merchants on Evangeline Street, the annual Kiwanis Community Christmas Parade, and the Lighting of the Square at St Martin de Tours Church at dusk. The parade will kick off at 2:00 pm at St Martinville Senior High School, and ends at Fred's. Applications are still available to ride in the parade, through December 12. After the Lighting of the Square, bring your lawn chairs and blankets out for 'Movie Under the Moon' on beautiful Bayou Teche. The St Martinville Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Association will present 'Christmas on the Bayou', which was filmed last year around the area. Admission is $5, which includes a drink and popcorn. Merry Christmas from St Martinville, ya'll!
