It's that time of year and that means the parades will be kicking off this weekend! Grab the kids and your coat and get ready to see Santa and celebrate the holidays.

The parades around Acadiana include:

Saturday, December 5th:

Carencro Country Christmas Parade

  • The event will take place at the Carencro Community Center and the parade will roll at 2pm.

Abbeville Christmas Parade

  • Enjoy Christmas floats, music and Santa as the parade rolls in downtown Abbeville at 6pm.

Sunday, December 6th:

Jeanerette Christmas Parade

  • Dance with the marching bands and Santa, dance groups and more during the parade from 1pm to 3pm.

Annual Sonic Christmas Parade

  • Celebrate the official arrival of Santa to Lafayette as he rolls through downtown Lafayette with local Veterans beginning at 1pm

Saturday, December 12th:

Magic on Main Christmas Parade

  • Downtown New Iberia will coming alive at 6pm when their Christmas parade rolls through.

Delcambre Christmas Boat Parade

  • Take the family to the Shrimp Festival Grounds to enjoy Christmas music with Santa as the boats pass with beautiful Christmas decorations.

Leesville Old-Fashioned Christmas Festival & Parade

  • The Main Street District will be spotlighted in true Christmas style; The Vernon Parish Chamber of Commerce will hold their parade at 5pm and there will be pictures with Santa.

Sunday, December 13th:

Delcambre Christmas Parade

  • The Main Street parade with marching bands and dance groups will roll from 2pm to 4pm.
