‘Christmas Past’ at Longfellow Evangeline State Historic Site

Christmas in Acadiana is wonderful, with so many festive events to attend! Our friends at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site will celebrate with a beautiful holiday event for the whole family! On December 9 - 13 you can take a tour of the Olivier Plantation, on the grounds of the state park, and enjoy Christmas circa 1815. See nature's beautiful decorations, and see how the Creoles celebrated the holidays over 100 years ago. We are so lucky to live in an area that embraces our historic past in such a wonderful way!
