Football, it's a way of life in our part of the world. Football is also a very violent game and injuries, sometimes serious injuries, are a part of the game. No one every wants to see a player hurt, especially when that player is in middle school and the reason he was hurt was the actions of an adult. Can you believe that a grown man strapped on a helmet and tried to run over 13 year old kids? This video makes me sick to my stomach. To think that a person with this mindset was put in charge of children on any level is disgusting.

I understand the need for toughness and discipline on the football field, however there is no room for psychotic deviants who find self esteem in demeaning and injuring children. This coach should not only be removed from his postion, he should be arrested and undergo a mental evaluation. This is child abuse, this is not football.

If you don't think this coach is a total sicko then ask yourself this question. Why did he have another coach video the entire drill? Come to think of it, why didn't the coach holding the camera tell him this was a bad idea. Yes, you can be expecting a lawsuit from the parents of the boy with the broken collarbone.
