The cold weather helps Crowley Police catch a man accused in an unsuccessful drive by shooting that happened Monday morning.

Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson says 29-year-old Brenton Scott of Crowley allegedly drove by a house in the 100 block of Rhone Village and began firing multiple shots into the home that had four people inside. Police say no one was injured.

Scott was arrested Tuesday morning in the 300 block of West Jeanette Street in Crowley.
“The cold weather has kept most people inside today, thus we reacted as quickly as possible and was able to get our suspect into custody as well as recover the firearm used in this crime,” says Chief Gibson.

Scott's bond has been set at $125,000 and he faces 4 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
