Color Run Will Make For A Memorable Mother’s Day

This Mother's Day, Hearts of Hope is offering you the opportunity to show your true colors, literally. The Color Run will be in Lafayette on Sunday May 11th and this would be a perfect way for you to show your support for Heart's of Hope and demonstrate to the world that your Mom raised a compassionate and caring person.

Hearts of Hope operates a Sexual Abuse Resource Center, a Children's Advocacy Center and the Sexual Assault Nurses Examiners. These three programs allow Heart's of Hope to provide information and support for victims in need of these services.  They also have an extensive educational outreach program designed to prevent abuse before it starts.

Hearts of Hope is dependent upon community support for these programs and the Color Run is one way the organization hopes to generate funding and awareness for their clients.  Currently Hearts of Hope is looking for volunteers to assist in the event on May 11th.

The Color Run will be accompanied by a Zumba warm up at 8am. The 5k (3.1 mile) Color Run will begin at 9am. Registration for the 5k run is still open.  Packet pick up for registered runners will be on May 10th at Academy Sports and Outdoors on Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
