More free live music is coming to Acadiana as "Concerts at Couret" is coming to upper Lafayette later this month.

The first show in this free, monthly summer music series will feature Carencro's own Ray Boudreaux. The concert is set for Friday, June 17th and music will start at 6:00pm. The location will be Couret Farms, a new residential establishment (located on Pont des Mouton Road) on Bourdette Drive at Abilene Lane.

Of course, many of us know the crooner for his top eight finish on Season 5 of NBC's The Voice. Ray recently released his first solo effort, a 6-song EP called First Train.

The music and festivities will last until 9pm. The series focuses on promoting the culture and hospitality of Acadiana through music, food and fun.

Food will be available for purchase from Auntie's Bakery Box, Cajun Cane Kettle Corn and Bombo Jerk. Beverages available from Romacelli's.

Here is the rest of the "Concerts at Couret" summer schedule:

July 15 - Marc Broussard
August 12 - Zydeco Radio
September 2 - Jaryd Lane
