The UFC just announced the fight that everyone knew was coming.

Conor McGregor will take on the undefeated lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to try and win the title back.

McGregor's legal troubles that came about back in April stemmed from Khabib's team. Both of them are going to want to rearrange each others face.

The long awaited return of McGregor to the octagon will headline UFC 229 which will take place October 6th in Las Vegas.

The announcement was made during a press conference celebrating 25 years of the UFC. President Dana White made the announcement.

Money seemed to be at the center of both fighters talks. McGregor was wanting an ownership share in the UFC's parent company, Zuffa, while Khabib wanted a significant pay raise to take this fight instead of other worthy contenders (Acadiana's own Dustin Poirier was one that he mentioned deserved the chance).

Who will you be rooting for?
