67-year-old Patricia Ritz of Fordsville, Kentucky is an animal hoarder and convicted animal abuser. And now she's no longer with us and the way she went was kind of gross.

We'll get to that part in a bit. First, a little background.

For the past 25 years, Patricia has hoarded dozens of wolf-dogs, most of whom were malnourished and mistreated.

But at some point earlier this month, she died at home from an unknown illness. Neighbors hadn't heard from her in a while so the police were notified.

Cops showed up to check out her house and discovered 50 dogs...and bones. Yep, Ms. Patricia passed away and the dogs ate her!

The coroner isn't sure yet what killed her. The dogs have been placed with an animal group.
