Cops in Alexandria Bust Knife-Wielding Clown

Residents in Alexandria, Louisiana saw their Sunday get kicked off to a strange start when they saw a man in full clown makeup and a bandanna on his face wandering Ulster Street.
Police were called when the rainbow wig-wearing perpetrator, complete with knife in his belt, rolled onto a homeowner’s property before moving on.
The crazed clown decided to enter another neighbor’s home. Deputies knocked on the door and sure enough, there was 20-year-old Steven J. Hawthorne answering the door bell.
When asked if he was under the influence, Hawthorne admitted to police that he had been smoking marijuana. (I know, shocking huh?!)
Hawthorne was transported to Rapides Parish Detention Center 1 where he was booked on criminal trespass, possession of CDS I and possession of drug paraphernalia.
