Crazy Ending to 5th Grade Football Game [Video]

I've seen some crazy endings to football games. This one is up there as one of the wackiest of all-time.

It's from a 5th grade game. The clock is winding down and the quarterback lofts a desperation pass down field. The pass falls short and is intercepted. The horn sounds and the defensive player who did the intercepting proceeds to spike the ball. The winning team floods the field.

As ESPN analyst Lee Corso would say, "not so fast my friend!" There was no whistle from the referee because the defender didn't fall down or take a knee. During the celebration, the offensive team picks up the ball and runs it in for a touchdown.
