Racing anything with a motor can be dangerous. I don't care whether you're racing stock cars, lawn mowers, R/C cars or motorcycles the combination of speed and power when mixed with physics and gravity is eventually going to bite you.

Sometimes it is not you that causes the crash it is someone else. Because you are traveling a such a high rate of speed their crash becomes your crash too. That is why you shouldn't tailgate my friends. Here is actual helmet camera footage of what it looks like to be in a motorcycle crash.
