This weekend we the people, took another giant step into understanding the universe in which we live. The Curiosity Rover set off a journey that will take months and if all goes well will bring us an even great understanding of Mars.

This is official animation from NASA and to honest while watching it I almost forgot it wasn't real. If you are a child that grew up watching Walter Cronkite host the blast offs of Apollo's missions to the moon, I bet you will be just as fascinated with this.
