Dega Jam Country Music Festival at Talladega Superspeedway Cancelled

The Dega Jam country music festival set for July 1-3, 2016 at Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway has been cancelled.

Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Toby Keith were among the acts set to perform.

On the Dega Jam website, the following statement was released:

We regret to announce that despite the tremendous enthusiasm many have expressed about the Dega Jam festival, set for this 4th of July weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, the event has been cancelled.

We sincerely apologize to everyone impacted by this difficult decision—fans, artists, industry partners, corporate partners, and everyone at Talladega Superspeedway.

Those who already purchased tickets will be given a full refund, including all service charges. Details on refunds can be found here.
