Reserve Deputy Clay Higgins debuted his official uniform with the Lafayette City Marshal's Office this week.

The photo, which was posted on-line by the Marshal's Office, shows Higgins in full-uniform for the first time since he walked away from the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office.

Higgins resigned from his position with the Sheriff's Office after a controversial episode of "Crime Stoppers," which gained a lot of national media attention.

Judging by the reaction of Acadiana when it was announced that Higgins was part of the force, I'm sure that there are a lot of people here that are happy to see Higgins back in uniform.
