Awards show season drawing near. This Wednesday (Aug. 31) three country acts will reveal the final nominees for the 2016 CMA Awards.

Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Cam are set to appear live from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn. to announce the final nominees for the 50th annual awards show. The reveal will be broadcast live on Good Morning America.

“Having these three artists participate together in our 50th Anniversary celebration on Good Morning America makes this kick off to an especially historic Awards season a true celebration of our genre,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer in a press release. “To have Dierks, Cam, and Keith standing on the Opry stage, where so much of the history of the Awards took place, just adds to the excitement of this year’s announcements.”

"Nominees in select categories" will be revealed on GMA during the 8:30 AM ET, half-hour segment. Later, CMA will release the complete CMA Awards nominees on their website, CMAawards50.com. Additionally, Cam will announce the finalists for CMA’s Broadcast Station and Personality of the Year.

The CMA Awards turn 50 this year, and leading up to the big anniversary a trailer for the show was released late last year.

“Next year is the Golden Anniversary of the CMA Awards,” Carrie Underwood says.

“That means it’s 50,” her longtime CMA Awards co-host, Brad Paisley, adds, “but with all the work it’s had done, it doesn’t look it.”

Underwood and Paisley are set to return as co-hosts this year. The 2016 CMA Awards air live on ABC on Nov. 2.
