Doctor Tells Patient Suffering From Back Pain That She’s Suffering From ‘Ghetto Booty’

A few months ago, 55-year-old Terry Ragland of Jackson, Tennessee went to her doctor with back pain. Her doctor, Timothy Sweo, diagnosed her with a condition called lumbar lordosis.

That's a curve in the spine that causes a lot of pain and apparently makes your butt stick out.

Oh, but here's the good part. Dr. Sweo didn't tell her she suffered from lumbar lordosis. Instead he told her she was suffering from "ghetto booty"!

It doesn't help that Dr. Sweo is white and Mrs. Ragland is black.

Apparently, the doctor was trying to make things "less technical". And the big dummy is not backing down.

"In trying to explain, I said that she had ghetto booty and she didn't like that apparently," said Dr. Sweo. "I think I do understand why her feelings were hurt, but I don't understand what's offensive about it."

Terry has now filed a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Health.  The state will investigate and decide if Dr. Sweo will face disciplinary action.

Good for you Terry, I wouldn't take that either!
