KMDL DOLLAR BILL GAME RULES
The following rules pertain to the Dollar Bill game and events pertaining to the Dollar Bill Game.
How to enter:
a. Contest begins on 10/8/2018 and ends on 10/26/18 and is open to KMDL listeners who meet eligibility restrictions, unless otherwise specified.
b. Listeners win via on-air call-ins. Be caller 7 when asked (337) 261-9797 and if listener possesses a dollar bill with a 9, 7 and 3 in that order in the serial number we'll award $100.
Eligibility Restrictions:
a. Contest winners must be 18 years of age with valid identification and a resident of the state of Louisiana who lives within 75 miles of the station. Some contests may require participants or winners to be at least 21 years of age.
b. Employees of TownSquare Media, its affiliates, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Lafayette area and the members of their immediate households are ineligible to participate or win. Listeners are eligible to win the Dollar Bill Game once during above mentioned time period.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months.
To claim a prize:
a. All prizes must be picked up at the offices of KMDL, 1749 Bertrand Dr., Lafayette LA, 70506, during normal business hours. Checks written for Dollar Bill Game will be ready 4-6 weeks after winning the prize and appropriate verification and paperwork has been completed.
b. Contest prizes are not transferable. Checks will be written out to the person who wins The Dollar Bill Game.
c. Winners must provide proof of identity and residency and present winning dollar bill to claim their check.
d. Once a prize is accepted, winner assumes all responsibility.
e. All prize checks will be mailed from TownSquare Corporate Offices to the address provided by the winner at the time of verification.
Selection of winners:
a. Decisions of station management with regard to contests are final.
Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes if the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS form 1099 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in a contest, the winner(s), finalists and/or qualifiers agree to have their name, voice and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcast material relating to this contest or to KMDL. A winner may or may not be required to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of a prize.
c. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by KMDL. Pursuant to this liability release, the winner agrees to hold harmless KMDL, its licensee and the partners, officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.
d. KMDL, its employees and agents are not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail, technological errors, and/or failures of telephone equipment. KMDL reserves the right to make changes in the rules of any contest, which become effective upon announcement. No purchase is necessary. Contests void where prohibited. Failure to comply with contest rules may result in a contestant's or winner's disqualification.
