Donny Rouse Walks Through Flooded Rouses Store in Denham Springs [Video]

Denham Springs was one of the worst hit areas of the state after all was said and done with the historic flooding. It is believed that up to 75% of the homes and businesses in that community saw some type of flood damage.

One of those businesses is Rouses Market.

Donnie Rouse took a tour of the flooded store and provided the above video. As you can see, the water level reached at least chest high and as a result, totally devastated the store.

But as with many in south Louisiana, the Rouses are staying strong and confident that they will rebound from this.

"Though the images are devastating, we are confident that we will be back and better than ever. We will rebuild, we will overcome. We are #LouisianaStrong," reads the caption under the video.
