Drew Brees is believed to have suffered a shoulder injury during the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is certainly not what Saints fans want to hear, especially after the terrible start to the season.

Brees took a hit in the second quarter that had him shaking his shoulder after getting up from the play. His arm strength was obviously not all there for the remainder of the game.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Saints believe quarterback Drew Brees has a shoulder injury that likely will cause him to miss games, according to sources with knowledge of the injury. Brees could potentially miss several games, and is scheduled to undergo more tests to determine the injury on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Rapoport.

Even during Brees' post-game press conference, the usually chipper (yes, even after a loss) quarterback gave one word answers to some questions, and was visibly bothered.

We will definitely be following this story very closely.
