Drew Brees turned 37 today, but he doesn't feel it.

The New Orleans Saints All-Pro quarterback channeled baseball legend Satchel Paige to describe his age.

However, he led the NFL in passing yards with 4,870, putting together another great statistical season.

He's entering the final season of his current contract, which is currently set to cost the Saints $30 million in cap space. Brees will likely extend his contract by several years, freeing up cap space for the 2016 season.

New Orleans GM Mickey Loomis stated this week Brees will be back in a Saints uniform next season.

Brees will need to play ten more years to match Paige, a feat that would seem impossible.

Satchel Paige, who began his baseball career pitching in the American Negro league in 1926 at age 20, finishing his career at age 47, pitching for the St. Louis Browns. (He spent one game at age 59 with the Kansas City Athletics)

The oldest player in the NFL currently is Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri at 43. The oldest quarterback is Colts backup Matt Hasselbeck at 40. Hasselbeck played in 8 games this season after starter Andrew Luck suffered  a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle.
