Drew Brees ‘Randomly’ Drug Tested After Saying He Wants To Play Until He’s 45
Drew has said before that he’d like to play for at least another 5 years. That would put him at 40. He kinda stretched that a little further on Friday, though, when he said he wants to play for another 10, putting the him at 45 years old. Here’s what he said to NFL.com:
No doubt. There’s no question. I’m not getting ahead myself, like it’s a pipe dream, at 45. I understand the challenges that come along with that. But why not? If I can stay healthy, and I’m having fun and playing at a high level, why wouldn’t I wanna do that? The biggest challenge is physically, the maintenance, the recovery, the way you train. You gotta hope that you stay healthy, but why not?
Then…either by very odd coincidence, orrrrr, Roger Goodell is trying to play his games again, Drew was “randomly” selected for a drug test over the weekend!
On Friday I said I thought I could play til age 45. I have been “randomly” selected for drug tests the last 2 days. What’s up with that! Lol
