Emma and Noah Were Most Popular Baby Names of 2014
The Social Security Administration just released its data on the most popular names of 2014 and there weren't any big surprises.
For the second year in a row, Noah was the top boy name. Almost 1% of boys born in the U.S. last year got that name.
The most popular name for girls was Emma. Since 2008 it has been in the top three year every year. More than 1% of girls born in the U.S. got that name last year.

If you are looking to be a trend-setter in naming your next baby, the boy names with the biggest jump from 2013 to 2014 included Bode, Axl and Gannon. For girls, the biggest jumpers included Aranza, Montserrat and Maisie.
