EVD Reschedules Racing Because Of Hurricane Isaac

Evangeline Downs cancelled the Wednesday August 29th card of racing due to the threat of bad weather from hurricane Isaac. The track, located in St. Landry Parish near Opelousas plans to make up the night of racing on September 4th. The first post time for the rescheduled card will be at 5:40 pm. The current meet at Evangeline Downs is scheduled to close on September 8. The casino and off track betting facility will remain open.
