12th Annual “Be A Heart Starter” CPR Training

"Be A Heart Starter" training day will be held at the Cajundome to inform and instruct Acadiana residents to be prepared in any circumstance.  Being prepared at home, or having employees trained at businesses can make Acadiana a safer place to live.  Seventy-five percent of heart attack victims experience cardiac arrest at home and many time no one knows how to perform CPR. 

The free event is open to anyone and any age!  Two two-hour sessions will be held at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  There will be several demonstrations on administering CPR.  Advanced registration is encouraged by calling toll-free (877)-242-4277 or by registering at http://www.heartstarter.org/
