LOUISIANA CAJUN FOOD FEST is a day filled with fun for the whole family. The fun starts when the gates open at 10am and continues until late into the night. Food and craft vendors line Cushing Avenue downtown Kaplan with goodies for every taste palate and fun for all kids young and old. Family Fun Day in Turnly Park provides kids of all ages inflatables and games until 6pm with a small fee per ride or bracelets. Live Music featuring Sammy Kershaw and Louisiana Red begins at noon and goes until late into the night with enough cold beverages and toe tapping music for all. Through the proceeds of this event, the Kaplan Area Chamber of Commerce is able to accomplish many projects throughout the year.
