The 37th annual Lafayette Parish 4-H/FFA Livestock Show and Sale will be held this Friday and Saturday, January 27-28, 2017. It all takes place at Blackham Coliseum in Building "D".
The judging of beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goats and poultry animals will take place on Friday beginning at 8:30am. The sale will begin at 9:30am on Saturday morning and the public is invited to come out and bid.
This year approximately 20 market hogs, two market goats, two market lambs and 19 pens of broilers will be on sale at public auction, each being sold to the highest bidder. There will also be a silent auction, a live cake auction and/or you can make a donation toward the parish animal.
The benefactor of the event are the parish 4-H/FFA programs and your contributions are tax deductible.
