It's time again to celebrate your heritage Acadiana, with the 41st annual Festivals Acadiens et Creoles presented by Capital One!

This year's festival celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Cajuns landing in Louisiana and kicks off Wednesday, October 7th at the Acadiana Center for the Arts with a special presentation of Zachary Richard's Attakapa then continues Thursday at Vermillionville with a symposium on the 250th anniversary of the Acadiens landing with guest speakers from around the world!

The festivities continue Friday at Girard Park with a Fais Do Do then on Saturday and Sunday with over 60 cajun and zydeco band and the new anniversary stage at the University Art Museum.

Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, the world's largest cajun/creole festival is from October 7th through 11th with music, fine arts and crafts, the bayou food festival, chef demonstrations and much more.
