The 79th Annual Shrimp and Petroleum Festival is set for August 28th thru September 1st in the Downtown Historic District of Morgan City. There will be great food, continuous live music, traditional events, children's events and new events.
Also, the 51st Labor Day Art Show & Sale will start on Wednesday, August 27th and continue through Thursday, September 20th, located downtown at the Everett Street Gallery. Hours to view the exhibit will be daily during the festival from 11 am to 5 pm.
