District IV of the Louisiana State Nurses Association celebrates National Nurses Week each May by recognizing 25 outstanding Registered Nurses who have been nominated by the public. The celebration is called ‘Acadiana Celebrates Nursing’ and LSNA asks the assistance of residents in the following parishes to help identify nurses deserving of this honor: Acadiana: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St Landry, St Martin and Vermilion.

Outstanding RNs whose courage, stamina, and compassion have made a difference for you; special nurses who exemplify concern for humanity and dedication to the profession of nursing. The RN may do this through direct care of patients or in mentoring other nurses. RNs from all areas of practice: clinical, administration, research, and education are eligible.

District IV in Acadiana includes: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St Landry, St Martin and Vermilion. Ms LaBrosse and Ms Hebert are available for interviews to promote this event. We appreciate the sharing of this information with your audiences.
