Annual Fall Bazaar

St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau is hosting the Annual Fall Bazaar. The event will begin with a fishing tournament on Saturday, September 15 at the Mermentau River. The weigh in will be at 12 p.m. at the St. John Parish Hall. A washer board tournament will start at 2 p.m. with music provided by DJ Rusty Louivere. Chicken and sausage gumbo will be served from 4-8 p.m. and bingo beginning at 5 p.m.

On Sunday, September 16, a BBQ pork dinner will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. For entertainment there will be fun children games, bingo, raffle sweet shop, concessions, trash and treasure, and a live auction. Come enjoy a family fun weekend.
