Celebrate the efforts of the Bayou Vermilion District to preserve sites along the river, clean up trash/debris, and manage water quality with their 7th annual festival and boat parade. There are multitudes of free activities to enjoy including yoga, face painting, crafts, a bubbles station, live music, and more! New this year is the Catfish Rodeo and Cook-Off, which starts at 10 am. There will be a pre-paddle at 8 am, which starts at the Acadiana Park Nature Station, ending at Vermilionville by 12 pm for the festival. Otherwise, boating begins at 2 pm and will end at the Camellia Bridge Canoe and Kayak Launch.
