You are invited to participate in the first Art Market, Canvas, Cameras and Coffee, to help provide recognition to local Louisiana artists, help to build a healthy community pride, creates a sense of place for residents, expose visitors to the Opelousas downtown district, and ultimately attract potential investors and residents to shop local and buy local.
Camera, Canvas & Coffee will be held on Saturday, May 17th at Java Square from 9a.m.-2p.m. You'll be sure to enjoy the works by emerging and local artists, by showcasing their creative offerings and exhibiting their work here in Opelousas. The Art market will offer high quality art in the two medias of : PAINTING: Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, Gouache, Mixed Media PHOTOGRAPHY: Black and White / Color - Plain or Enhanced.
