Church Point Mardi Gras is set for Saturday, February 14th and Sunday the 15th.
On Saturday, they will be doing the Children’s Mardi Gras Run at the Saddle Tramp Clubhouse. Registration for children 14 and under is $10. Horses and alcohol are not allowed for this run. Sign up/late registration will be from 8:30am to 9:30am and the run will begin at 10am.
The Children’s Courir de Mardi Gras Main Street Parade will begin at 1pm.
Sunday is the big day. The Adult Courir de Mardi Gras Run will also be held at the Saddle Tramp Clubhouse. Ages 21 and younger will pay $25 for registration and everyone older will pay $35. Registration will begin at 7am and the run is set to begin at 8am. All who register must have a valid Driver’s License or State I.D.
The Courir de Mardi Gras Parade we all know and love will begin after the run at 1pm down Main Street.
