First Baptist Lafayette welcomes Jamie Chaney Womack on July 15 to share her story of God's faithfulness, even through her struggles with cerebral palsy.

Jamie's fathers served as Minister of Outreach at First Baptist Lafayette when Jamie was a child. Through the faith, diligence,and hard work of her family, she overcame her handicap and complete high school and a degree in Business Administration from LSU.  She is married to Jimmy Womack, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Maringouin, LA.

In 2002 Jamie began sharing her stories in churches to encourage people to look at hardships as opportunities to become closer to God. Her story will motivate others to find a deeper relationship with God.
