Come on out for a family-fun day for a great cause Saturday, May 31, 2014. A fundraiser for Amy Maricle, wife of Jacob Maricle, will be held at Drouet Park in Turkey Creek. Amy was diagnosed with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) she spent a month in hospitals and her last weeks in Oshners under a very heavy sedation. She was recently discharged and sent home with oxygen and therapy.
It will be a day the entire family will enjoy with fun activities such as: face painting, fun jumps, a softball tournament, singing, bands, DJ, train ride for the kids, and a live auction. The Auction has lots and lots of super nice items such as yeti ice chest, stainless steel LSU/SAINTS Fire pit and 3 gallon pot, handmade butcher block, cutting board and duck calls. Custom painted boys and girls bicycle, smoker, .22 rifle and so so much more.There will be burgers, jambalaya and cold drinks. Kids 12 and under are free.
