Golf 4a CAUSE Golf Tournament

Sky’s the Limit of Acadiana will host its first  fundraising golf tournament on Tuesday, September 13 at Farm d’Allie Golf Club in Carencro.  The tournament benefits St. Mary’s Residential Training School for individuals with special needs.  Participants will enjoy lunch, 18 holes of golf with food and drinks along the course, and an array of golf competitions including a helicopter mulligan ball drop.  Tee-off time is at 1:30 and two-man teams are available as well as sponsorship opportunities.

The Tee-Off Party & Auction will be held the night before the tournament (Monday, September 12) from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Social in Lafayette.  Anyone is able to purchase a $20 ticket to attend this event.  There will be delicious food, a cash bar and fun attractions like a silent auction, wine and restaurant gift card pulls and several raffle baskets.

The funds raised from this year’s tournament will support the construction of the “Acadiana House” group home at St. Mary’s Residential Training School.  Sky’s the Limit of Acadiana’s future goal is to have an “integrated community” right here in Acadiana.  Group home living provides a safer and more peaceful setting for residents with special needs.
