Come out for the Greg Landry "Big Red Classic" Memorial Fishing Tournament September 13, 2014. On March 9, 2013 was a tragic day for the family of Greg Landry. While on his way home from a fishing trip Greg was struck and killed by a drunk driver. His family and friends have chosen to honor Greg’s memory and love for his community by hosting a fishing tournament with proceeds benefitting the mission of Faith House. The 2nd Annual Greg Landry Big Red Classic fishing tournament will be held on September 13, 2014 at Cypremort Point in remembrance of a remarkable man whose life was taken too soon.

Faith House is honored to be a part of this heartfelt event. We are inspired by Greg’s family and their drive to make a difference in our community. Though they grieve the loss of a husband, father, grandfather, and friend, they keep his memory alive by supporting the community. All proceeds from this event will be received by Faith House to support our mission of providing safety and resources to victims of domestic violence.

"My Dad would have wanted this, he was always willing to give that helping hand, I know he is proud of what we’ve done in honor of him.” says his son Keith.

Tournament Information:
Fishing begins at safe daylight until 6:00 pm on the 13th. Anglers will weigh-in a quantity of 3 Redfish Slot limit 16"-27" and or 3 Speckled trout over 12”.

Registration:
Anglers: $50.00 per person.
Kayak: $25.00 per person.

For an additional $10, anglers have the chance to win a $500 cash prize for the Redfish with the Redfish with the most spots - sponsored by AD&R, Inc.!

Specialties from the Lafayette food trucks, snacks and drinks will be sold!
Live music on Saturday at the Pavilion! Event T-Shirts and Going Coastal merchandise & other vendor items will be available for purchase!
