Hopefest, a family-friendly, music charity festival, will kick off Saturday, April 12, 2014. It will begin with a Hopefest 5K starting at 8 am. at the intersection of Polk and Vermilion. The music will be from noon until 7 pm.

From our local talent to Los Angeles to New Orleans, Hopefest is bringing Lafayette a rocking line up: MacKenzie Bourg is kicking things off. Fox Fire will follow and then the Zydeco Boss Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band take the stage. After Keith Frank, The New Form plays. Wrapping up the festival and headlining is Royal Teeth.

Admission:  $5 adults; $3 children. Available will be your favorite food trucks, boiled crawfish, and more. Kids games and silent auction all day. All proceeds go to special needs children and at risk children through the STM Options Program and Holy Family Catholic School.
