The Iberia Rod and Gun Club's 61st Annual Saltwater Fishing Rodeo will be held July 3-5, 2014 at Quintana Canal, Cypremort Port. Any kid who purchases a fishing ticket and weighs in a fish will have the opportunity at a chance to win a lifetime fishing license.
Friday, July 4th, there will be a DJ at the headquarters after closing the scales. On Saturday, July 5th, after closing of scales and awards ceremony, there will be live entertainment by The Bad Boys from 5-7 pm. and Good Feelings from Thibodeaux, LA from 8 pm. - 12 midnight.
Food, beer, refreshments will be served. Also, the boat captain's supper will be held Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 in the Lydia Veterans Memorial Building at 6:30 pm. This will be the only time the Calcutta tickets will be sold.
