Don's Wholesale will be hosting their first Rice & Gravy Cook-off and car meet in Saturday, May 28th from 8am to 3pm at their location on Johnston Street.
Rice and gravy categories will include beef, chicken, and wild game. Awards will include 1st and 2nd in each category, best overall and best tent/display.
There will be a live DJ all day and entry fee will be $40 ($10 extra to enter in more than one category). Admission and tasting will be $5.
All proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana.
